3 Truths We’ve Learned from the Solange/Jay Z Debacle…

1. Every family has their problems.  There are no perfect families or perfect people. It doesn’t matter where you come from or how much money you have, everyone has their issues. Now we don’t know what the Knowles/Carter beef is. But we do know there is a problem. As with many families, fights happen. Siblings, spouses, parents, cousins and friends, they all fight every now and then. The key is in how you forgive & make up. Even though Solange allegedly deleted every photo of her sister on Instagram, sisters are forever. I am sure in time they will reconcile. And, all of this will blow over.

2. People are tired of the fake.  The entertainment industry is full of phony people. In the past, entertainers had to present a certain image in order to be successful. Now in the age of reality TV, most people want to see a semblance of authenticity. There is a desire to relate to celebs, even if in some small way. The persona of glitz, glam and perfection is fading. No one believes the smoke and mirrors anymore. This why shows like “Fix My Life” (returning this Sat. May 17, 2014)  are so popular. At the end of the day, we are all the same. Some just happen to be richer and more famous than others.

3. Fame can be a prison & we should mind our own business sometimes. Would you ever want your family fights and personal issues to air out for the world to see? I wouldn’t. Even though these people are famous, we don’t have a right to witness every part of their lives. Everyone is entitled to privacy. We don’t have carte blanche into everything any person is doing, saying or thinking. Now, if you put your business out on media for the world to see, then be prepared for opinions. But, for private moments such as the one in the elevator, we should not have been privvy to that personal moment.

All in all, these people are human beings We may never know what happened, all we can do is speculate. But most importantly, I hope they work out their family issues & I hope you do as well.

Peace and Blessings to all.
